Circuit

The Eurocircuit is a permanent off-road racing facility set in woodland between Eindhoven and the Belgian border at Valkenswaard, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. Opened in April 1971, it is recognised as the world's first venue purpose-built for rallycross, and it remains the only permanent rallycross circuit in the Netherlands. The roughly 1,033-metre lap mixes surfaces in a 60% asphalt to 40% loam-and-gravel split, threading six corners and a chicane past named sections that honour the sport's history, including the Per Eklund and Tarzan turns and the Jan de Rooy underpass. A Joker Lap was introduced in 2011 and the loose sections were rebuilt in 2022. From 1976 the circuit staged official rounds of the FIA European Rallycross Championship, hosting the Dutch event for decades and becoming a celebrated theatre for European rallycross battles. Today it anchors Dutch, Belgian and German championship rallycross alongside autocross, supercar and supermoto activity, run by the Nederlandse Rallycross Vereniging. Facilities include pits, a control tower, scrutineering scales, a medical centre and spectator amenities.
