Circuit

Ring Knutstorp is a motor racing circuit in Kågeröd, Sweden, with a history stretching back over 50 years. Built in 1963, it was extended in 1970 and modified to its present configuration in 1980. The undulating and relatively quick circuit is popular with spectators due to good views from overlooking banks. It has hosted rounds of Swedish and Danish national championships, including the STCC and Danish Touringcar Championship. During the 1970s and 1980s, it attracted international motorsport, notably the European Formula 3 Championship, with winners like Alain Prost. The circuit configuration has remained unchanged since 1980 and remains one of Sweden's busiest tracks. It hosts manufacturer and club days, general testing, and driver education events. Rallycross events have also found a home here. The 1980 modifications removed the banked 'Liton' corner due to safety concerns, replacing it with a tighter corner and straightening part of the esses.
