Circuit
Padborg Park is Denmark’s southernmost permanent racing facility, offering a tight and technical layout ideally suited for national-level competition. Opened in 2003 on the site of an airfield, it quickly became a mainstay of Danish motorsport. The original 2.150 km layout featured a chicane on the back straight, which was later bypassed for safety reasons in 2010. This alternative route, adopted as standard from 2011, resulted in a slightly shorter 2.070 km lap with improved rhythm. The circuit regularly hosts the TCR Denmark Series, Super GT Denmark, and Nordic 4 Championship, alongside various club-level categories. It is also used daily for testing, track days, driver training, and media events. Despite its compact footprint and flat terrain, its charm lies in its accessibility and club-friendly ethos. A motocross and off-road area was added, cementing its status as a multi-disciplinary motorsport hub. Padborg Park remains a vital part of Denmark’s racing infrastructure, thriving as a grassroots and semi-professional venue.
