Oxford Plains Speedway is a paved 3/8-mile (0.604 km) asphalt oval short track in Oxford, Maine, in the United States. The facility opened in 1950 and has operated as a fixture of New England stock car racing ever since. Its weekly programme features divisions such as Late Models, Super Late Models, and various support and entry-level classes drawn from the surrounding region. The track is best known as the home of the Oxford 250, a marquee Super Late Model event that has run since the early 1970s and regularly attracts entries from across the United States and Canada. Over the decades the Oxford 250 has been sanctioned by a series of bodies, including NASCAR, the American-Canadian Tour, and most recently the Pro All Stars Series (PASS). The race has historically drawn drivers with experience in NASCAR's national touring divisions, lending it a national profile within short-track racing. Tom Mayberry has owned and operated the speedway since 2012. The venue sits on Main Street along Route 26, a short distance from the Oxford Casino. It remains one of Maine's most prominent motorsport venues.
