Nashville Superspeedway is a 1.33-mile D-shaped oval located in Gladeville, Tennessee, near Lebanon and within driving distance of Nashville. Opened in 2001 by the Dover Motorsports Group, it is notable as the largest concrete-surfaced track on the NASCAR schedule, and its turns are banked at 14 degrees. In its first era it hosted NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series races along with the IndyCar Series, but it could never secure a lucrative NASCAR Cup date, and Dover effectively shuttered racing operations after the 2011 season. Several proposed sales fell through over the following years, including bids that would have demolished the site, leaving its future deeply uncertain. The breakthrough came in June 2020 when NASCAR added the venue back to its schedule, and the track reopened in 2021 with its first Cup race won by Kyle Larson. It now hosts the Ally 400 Cup race, the Tennessee Lottery 250 Xfinity event and the Rackley Roofing 200 Truck race. From 2024 it also took on the IndyCar season finale, the Music City Grand Prix. Permanent grandstands seat around 25,000, expandable with temporary seating, and lighting allows night events.
Operated by: NASCAR (Speedway Motorsports LLC)
