Circuit

Madison International Speedway is a paved half-mile oval racetrack located in the Town of Rutland near Oregon, Wisconsin, in Dane County. Marketed as "Wisconsin's Fastest Half-Mile," the facility traces its origins to a quarter-mile dirt track that operated on the site from the 1950s before the current half-mile asphalt configuration opened in 1969. The main oval features banked turns, and a shorter inner oval is also part of the complex. Over the decades the track has passed through numerous owners, with Gregg and Angie McKarns taking over operations in 2015. The venue hosts a regular season of short-track stock car racing, including Late Model competition, alongside special events and street drag programs. It remains one of the prominent asphalt short tracks in the Madison area and draws regional racing fields and spectators throughout the season.
