Circuit
Ljungbyheds Motorbana is a motorsports circuit in Ljungbyhed, Sweden, converted from a former military airfield. The venue operated for driver training purposes from 2007 before expanding into motorsport and trackday activities in 2016. Three courses were created from the network of runways and taxiways, with new kerbing and a pit lane added. The circuit hosts national events such as the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship, Radical Cup Scandinavia, and Pro Superbike events. It also offers a Radical Racing School, a VW Golf GTi driving course, and its own drivers club. Spectator facilities are minimal, including a viewing platform made from shipping containers. The first motorsport weekend was in September 2016, and the Swedish Touring Car Championship first visited in 2021, returning as the season opener in 2022.
