The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is a temporary street course in Paradise, Nevada, immediately adjacent to Las Vegas, running along part of the Las Vegas Strip section of Las Vegas Boulevard. Designed by Carsten Tilke, son of Formula One circuit architect Hermann Tilke, it broke ground in March 2022 and opened on 16 November 2023 for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, the city's first Formula One race since the early-1980s Caesars Palace events. The lap measures about 6.201 km and runs counter-clockwise over 17 corners, including a dramatic flat-out section of roughly 1.9 km down the Strip itself. It begins in a purpose-built pit and paddock complex on land bought by Formula One, before passing landmarks such as the Sphere arena, the Venetian, Caesars Palace, Bellagio and Paris Las Vegas, all illuminated for the night race. The original 2022 plan featured 14 corners but was revised with the addition of a chicane to bring the total to 17. Cars reach very high speeds on the long straight, with a peak of over 222 mph recorded in 2025. As well as Formula One, the circuit has hosted F1 Academy from 2025 and a round of Ferrari Challenge North America in 2024. The race is staged at night, using the glitz of the Strip as a backdrop, and the county granted Formula One ten years of access to the public roads required.
