Circuit

Killarney International Raceway, also known as the Killarney Motor Racing Complex, is a motorsport venue in the Table View area of Cape Town, South Africa. It is owned and operated by the Western Province Motor Club, which has run motorsport at the site since the late 1940s. The facility first saw racing action in 1947 and was rebuilt to FIA standards in 1959-60 to a design by racing driver and roads engineer Edgar Hoal. The present circuit measures roughly 3.267 km and features five turns. In December 1960 it staged the inaugural Cape Grand Prix, a Formula One race won by Stirling Moss. The complex also includes a drag racing strip and a go-kart track, making it a multi-discipline venue. More recently it hosted the FIA World Rallycross Championship round, the World RX of South Africa, between 2017 and 2019 and again in 2023. The venue remains the principal home of circuit motorsport in the Western Cape.
