The Diriyah circuit was a temporary street track laid out through the historic district of Ad Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the edge of the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. It hosted the Diriyah ePrix, the first Formula E event staged in the Middle East, beginning in 2018 as the championship launched its second-generation cars. Winding past the area's restored adobe-brick architecture, the roughly 2.5-kilometre lap blended ancient surroundings with modern motorsport infrastructure built to FIA standards in cooperation with UNESCO and the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. The layout was tweaked several times over its life, including a 2021 resurfacing that subtly reprofiled corners around Turns 9, 13 and 14 without altering the lap distance. From 2019 the event ran as a floodlit double-header, becoming a fixture of the early-season calendar and famous for night racing under the desert sky. The venue also featured a large entertainment village and concert arena alongside its grandstands. The final Diriyah ePrix took place in January 2024, after which Formula E moved Saudi Arabia's round to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
A 21-turn temporary street layout threading through the historic Ad Diriyah district, blending tight technical sections with the heritage backdrop of the UNESCO site. Used by Formula E from 2018 until the final Diriyah ePrix in 2024, with minor corner revisions over the years.
