Circuit
Collie Motorplex is a multi-discipline motorsport venue set on Powerhouse Road roughly 14 kilometres east of the coal town of Collie, around 200 kilometres south-east of Perth in Western Australia's South West. It began life primarily as a driver-training facility before growing into one of the cornerstones of the state's club racing scene. The complex is home to the longest sealed road-racing circuit in Western Australia, offered in a 1.6-kilometre short configuration and a 2.55-kilometre long configuration that share much of the same ribbon of tarmac. The full circuit runs anti-clockwise through 13 corners and is licensed by Motorsport Australia, AASA and Motorcycling Australia, so it caters equally to cars, motorcycles and karts. Beyond the road course, the site packs in a drifting stadium, a supermoto track, a dedicated burnout pad and a short club-level drag strip, making it a genuine one-stop motorsport destination. Facilities for competitors and spectators include some forty undercover pit bays, electronic track timing and a pedestrian bridge linking the paddock to the spectator areas. It regularly hosts state speed-event series, test-and-tune days and rounds of Western Australian championship racing. The venue is operated as a not-for-profit community asset for the region's motorsport clubs.
