Circuit
Circuito dos Cristais is a permanent racing facility near Curvelo, in the central Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. Developed by TecRacing Parks from 2012 and built between 2013 and 2016, it was conceived as the country's first true 'race resort', combining a circuit with residential villas, a gated club and other leisure facilities. The 4.4 km road course was designed to FIA Grade 2 and FIM Grade A standards, with 18 corners and around 30 metres of elevation change that drivers have praised for their rhythm and flow. Racing began in April 2016, and Stock Car Brasil made its debut here in November of that year, using a dedicated shorter configuration the following season before the venue dropped off the national calendar in 2018. A high-speed test loop added in 2022 was later adapted into a short oval — described as Brazil's only operational oval — which hosted the NASCAR Brasil season finale in 2024. Stock Car Brasil returned to the circuit in 2025 after an eight-year absence. With multiple layouts, modern facilities and natural scenery, it has become one of Brazil's most versatile motorsport venues.
