Circuit

Autódromo Roberto José Mouras is a motorsports circuit located in La Plata, Argentina, named after three-time Turismo Carretera champion Roberto Mouras. It was created in the mid-1990s, with the inaugural Turismo Carretera race held on October 20, 1996, won by Emilio Satriano. The circuit remains a mainstay of the Turismo Carretera calendar, also hosting TC2000 and Uruguayan Touring Car Championships. Initially, TC cars used a chicane before the first curve, which has since been bypassed. Developments include a short course added in 2001 and a second chicane in 2005. A new pit building with seating for 5,000, VIP, press, and conferencing facilities was added in 2012. The site also features the Turismo Carretera Museum, opened in 2012, showcasing the history of Argentina's most fabled championship.
