Circuit

Autódromo Eduardo Copello, also known as El Zonda, is a motorsports circuit located in the Quebrada de Zonda ravine in San Juan, Argentina. Inaugurated in 1967, it is named in honor of driver Eduardo Copello, winner of its inaugural race. The circuit is known for its spectacular location, nestled within rocky outcrops, creating a natural amphitheatre. Due to restricted land size, the track features a unique figure-of-eight cross-over design to achieve its length. The eastern end of the circuit includes a series of lightly banked corners known as ‘The Curler’. It regularly hosts TC2000, Súper TC 2000, Top Race V6, Turismo Nacional, and other national series. Juan Manuel Fangio famously praised the new course, declaring it "the best racetrack I saw in my life!".
