Circuit

Autodrom Most is a permanent motor racing circuit on the western edge of the city of Most, in the industrial north-west of the Czech Republic. Motorsport in the area dates back to 1947, when motorcycle races were organised around a brewery on the edge of the city, with various street and road courses tried over the following decades. The permanent facility opened in 1983, becoming the first dedicated motor racing circuit in what was then Czechoslovakia. A major refurbishment after the 2004 season reconfigured the opening corners, adding a sharper Monza-style chicane that created a new overtaking opportunity at the cost of outright speed. The 21-turn circuit has long been the home of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship's Czech Truck Prix, held annually since 1993. Its international profile grew sharply when the ADAC GT Masters visited in 2018 and 2019, followed by a multi-year deal that brought the Superbike World Championship from 2021. The same year saw a one-off FIM Endurance World Championship round and the circuit's elevation onto the FIA WTCR calendar from reserve status. The NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and TCR Eastern Europe touring cars are also regular fixtures. Prague's Vaclav Havel Airport lies about an hour to the south-east, with Dresden a similar distance to the north in neighbouring Germany.

The current Grand Prix configuration dates from the 2005 reprofiling, which introduced a sharp Monza-style opening chicane to aid overtaking. The hard-surfaced 21-turn layout serves international touring car, GT, superbike and truck racing.
