2026 · 10 of 10About VP Challenge
The IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge is a developmental motorsport series launched in 2023 by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA). It serves as an entry-level platform for aspiring drivers to gain experience in professional racing conditions before advancing to higher-tier championships such as the Michelin Pilot Challenge and the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The series features LMP3 prototypes alongside GT4 cars, competing in single-driver sprint races during IMSA-sanctioned weekends. Drivers accumulate points throughout the season, with a champion crowned at the end of each year based on their performance across multiple race events.
