The GT2 European Series is an SRO Motorsports Group championship for modern GT2 machinery — cars with more power but less aero than GT3, designed with gentleman drivers in mind. Launched in 2021, it races sprint formats on European GT weekends with models like the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport, Audi R8 LMS GT2 and Maserati MC20 GT2.
