The Formula Regional European Championship (FREC) is Europe's leading Formula Regional series, positioned between Formula 4 and FIA Formula 3 on the single-seater ladder. Identical Tatuus chassis and multi-race weekends at major European circuits develop young drivers, with alumni such as Isack Hadjar progressing toward Formula 1. The championship is sanctioned by the FIA and run by ACI Sport.
