Launched in 2023 by GT Sport Organizacion, which also runs Euroformula Open and International GT Open, the series quickly established itself as a crucial stepping stone for aspiring drivers aiming to progress into higher echelons of motorsport. The championship races at leading European circuits such as Paul Ricard, Portimao, Imola, Monza, Silverstone, Jerez, the Hungaroring, and Barcelona, offering a diverse range of tracks that challenge drivers in various ways. Each round features multiple races, typically two sprint events per weekend, with points awarded based on race results to determine the season champion.
