Clio Cup Series

The Clio Cup Series is the European one-make championship for the fifth-generation Renault Clio Cup car: a 200 bhp 1.3-litre turbo with a five-speed Sadev sequential gearbox, factory-built at the Alpine plant in Dieppe. Clio Cup racing dates from 1991 and is known for close racing, large grids and equal machinery; the series races on the Ultimate Cup European Series bill at circuits such as Navarra and Portimão.
