About AFO
The Australian Formula Open is an open-wheel championship founded in 2023 by Tim Macrow as the successor to the Australian Formula 3 championship. Since 2025 the name has been run by the organisers of the NSW Formula Car Championship, one of Motorsport Australia's State Championships.
